Today, I’m thrilled to share The State of Pay Equity 2023, the second annual report sponsored by OpenComp and OPEN Imperative. The report summarizes a survey of 500 CEOs, CFOs, and HR & People executives at companies of up to 5000 employees across all industries.
This year’s findings are both inspiring and shocking, such as:
- 91% of executives say pay equity is a business imperative.
- 70% of teams don’t have resources to make pay equity a reality.
- 53% of CEOs still believe their companies are doing an excellent job with pay equity.
This mismatch of intentions and actions illustrates the enormous complexity that sits on the shoulders of HR and people teams.
